Pilates Instructor – Professional & Youth Athlete Focus
Superior Pilates | Lake Forest, ILSuperior Pilates is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pilates Instructor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident working with both youth athletes and professional-level performers, and who is committed to delivering precise, high-performance training in a classical Pilates environment.
We are expanding our specialty athlete programming and are looking for an instructor who can commit to consistent evening and weekend availability.

Superior Pilates is a classical Pilates studio serving a diverse and driven clientele, including competitive youth athletes, collegiate athletes, and professional players across major sports organizations. Our work emphasizes movement quality, core control, flexibility, injury prevention, and performance longevity. We are known for thoughtful programming, technical precision, and a strong results-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
Teach private sessions, duet sessions, and small group classes
Develop individualized programming for youth, collegiate, and professional athletes
Assess movement patterns, imbalances, and sport-specific needs
Support injury prevention and post-rehabilitation strengthening
Collaborate with studio leadership on athlete-focused program development
Maintain detailed client notes and progression plans
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, and studio presentation
Qualifications
Comprehensive Pilates certification (minimum 450-hour training; classical background preferred)
Experience working with athletes strongly preferred
Strong understanding of biomechanics and functional movement
Ability to confidently manage both high-level performers and younger developing athletes
Comfortable communicating with parents, trainers, and agents when appropriate
Professional, grounded presence with strong verbal cueing skills
Availability
Evening availability
Weekend availability
Willingness to build and maintain a regular client schedule
